How to Request Deletion

What to Include in Your Email
To process your request efficiently and securely, please include the following details in your email:

- Your Full Name: The name used when creating your account.
- Registered Email Address: The email associated with your Turva account.
- Phone Number (if applicable): To help us verify your identity.
- Reason for Deletion (optional): While not required, knowing your reason helps us improve the platform.
- Confirmation Statement: A line stating:
"I confirm that I am the account owner and request that all my personal data be permanently deleted from Turva."
What Happens Next
Once we receive your request:
- We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
- If your account is verified, we will initiate deletion of your data within 7 business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion process is complete.
- Some data may be retained as required by law or for security purposes (e.g., logs or abuse reports).
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, you will no longer have access to your reports, profile, or saved information.
- You may be asked to verify your identity using the email or phone number associated with your account.
- Certain public reports you submitted may remain in anonymized or aggregated form for the safety of other users and historical reference.
